Welcoming Dr. Amanda Kelly as Girl Scouts of Colorado’s Next CEO
Girl Scouts of Colorado is excited to welcome Dr. Amanda Kelly as its next Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Kelly will join GSCO on August 24, 2026, and will work closely with Leanna Clark and the Girl Scouts of Colorado Board of Directors to support a smooth transition. Dr. Kelly comes to GSCO after 14 years at Firefly Autism, a Colorado nonprofit serving children and families, where she has served as President and CEO since 2021. Lazy Acres within Aspen Acres wildfire burn zone
Update: Tuesday, July 14: A few members of the GSCO Outdoor Programs and Properties team were able to access the property on Saturday, July 11, with the help of the U.S. Forest Service. Lazy Acres is a property we operate under a special use USFS permit: we own the buildings but it's on USFS land.
