Troop 41660 Creates Video to Encourage More Adults to Become Girl Scout Leaders

GSCO blog

Troop 41660 on Ft. Carson in GSCO’s Pikes Peak region created this video as the Take Action project for their Media Journey. The girls created the video to inspire more adults to become Girl Scout leaders as they learned that many adults think it is too much work and the girls wanted to show how rewarding it is to be a leader. The girls did the project completely by themselves without help from their leaders or other adults. To learn more about volunteering in the Pikes Peak region, email heidi.sumner@gscolorado.org or sarah.elzahed-moorman@gscolorado.org. To learn more about volunteering in other parts of Colorado, go to https://www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org/en/for-volunteers/why-volunteer.html.

We want to hear how your girl is using her Girl Scout skills by taking initiative, caring for the community, and Girl Scouting at home. She can send in her story here.
