A great space science master badge program with Estes Rockets!


After searching through the Anytime Activities, on Saturday, my Ambassador troop and I drove two hours south to the small town of Penrose, Colo. to take part in the Space Science Badge with the Estes Rockets Cosmic club. My troop had a great time learning about other planets, real time NOAA satellite data, and women working at NASA. They also learned about the history of Estes Rockets, and got to launch model rockets at the end. It was great for them to learn about space, the careers surrounding it, and have a fun hands-on activity at the end!


Estes Rockets has programs for all levels, but it is always great when my troop finds an activity that they still think is fun and keeps them engaged in Girl Scouts as they get older!
