Silver Award Event: Bilingual Brilliance – Parker


Learning another language can open doors to new cultures, friendships, and opportunities. That’s exactly what Bilingual Brilliance is all about! Join us for a fun, interactive community event designed to spark curiosity and excitement about learning languages.


Date: Saturday, March 28, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Location: Douglas County Libraries - Parker, 20105 Main Street, Parker, CO 80138


This event is proudly organized by Girl Scouts from Troop 65878 as their Silver Award project. Their mission is to show the community how exciting and valuable learning multiple languages can be. Through creative activities and hands-on experiences, they hope to inspire kids and families to begin their own language-learning journey.


Each station will introduce a different language and culture through engaging activities. Some of the languages featured include:

  • American Sign Language (ASL)

  • Chinese

  • French

  • Spanish

Kids and families can enjoy a variety of fun experiences such as:

  • Creative crafts

  • Interactive story time

  • Hands-on activities that teach basic words and phrases

These activities are designed to make language learning approachable, exciting, and memorable for all ages.


When you arrive, you’ll receive a Bilingual Brilliance passport to collect stamps from different language stations. Completing the passport activities helps you meet the requirements for the Bilingual Brilliance patch. It’s a fun way to track your progress while exploring each language.

Note: The event itself is completely free. The optional Bilingual Brilliance patch will be available for purchase at the event.
