Juniors in Region 4 Get Moving!

Service Units 413 and 415 recently hosted a Juniors Get Moving Journey in a Day! Girl Scouts gathered together to learn all about energy, engineering, consumption, and how they can make their world a better place.

Guest speaker Kimberly Jones, an engineer and lifetime Girl Scout, kicked off the event. Girl Scouts then took part in the Energy Olympics, where they learned all about kinetic and potential energy.

The pinnacle to the event was the 'What's the Build Idea?' challenge, where Girl Scouts were tasked with creating recycled seating made from leftover cardboard, to include those abundant cookie boxes!
