Calling all troop and service unit teams! You have the power to help ignite something incredible for a new group of Girl Scouts in your community. By stepping up to recruit and mentor a brand-new troop, you’ll help build something meaningful in your community and earn $50 for your troop or service unit, plus $50 for the new troop.
By supporting a new troop through just 3–4 meetings, you’ll lay the foundation for unforgettable experiences—for girls and volunteers alike—as they begin their exciting Girl Scout journey. There are extra resources to support troop mentors!
The Girl Scout Experience Box for Daisies is back for another year, and 2025 is the first year offering an Experience Box Brownies. These monthly complimentary supply boxes are designed especially for troops with first year Daisies and/or Brownies on the roster. Here are the deets:
Each month, participating troops will receive a free, ready-to-go supply box filled with easy-to-follow activity guides, step-by-step instructions to lead two meetings a month, and engaging script suggestions.
Troops qualify and start receiving boxes when they have four or more first-year Daisies or first-year Brownies registered.
Troops can receive both boxes if they meet the requirements!
Troop mentors can choose to receive the experience box during initial meetings and then can request the box be transferred to a newly established volunteer via an email to inquiry@gscolorado.org.
Boxes will ship once a troop has one registered Troop Leadership Team (TLT) member and a minimum of four first year Daisies or first year Brownies. The mentor can be registered as a TLT for the troop to meet this initial requirement.
