On Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m. Girl Scouts of Colorado with Denver Museum of Nature and Science will host a virtual International Observe the Moon Night kick-off celebration.
In this family fun virtual event, we will give you tips and tricks on how to observe the moon, take a virtual trip to moons across the solar system with Naomi Pequette from DMNS, and learn some cool facts that any moon enthusiast or curious people would enjoy.
Then as the moon rises (at 7:44 p.m.), you will be able to observe the moon when its shadows and details are easiest to see and apply the knowledge that you learned in the kick-off! What a great way to connect with your girl and her love of space.
