Daisy Day at the Denver Botanic Gardens

Daisy Day at the Denver Botanic Gardens is September 19, 2020. Explore the Gardens and discover how plants make the world a better place! Timed entry is at 9:15 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., or 1 p.m. This program is presented in partnership with Girl Scouts of Colorado and is adapted from the Daisy Girl’s Guide to Girl Scouting, “Rosie’s Story: A Better Beach for Everyone—Make the World a Better Place (Rose Petal),” which can be used for additional information and activities.

Registration closes September 16 at 5 p.m.

Girl Scouts will:

  1. Walk through the Gardens while reading the story of Rosie the Rose

  2. Create ecofriendly planting pots

  3. Plant seeds to take home

  4. Explore the Gardens while completing a plant scavenger hunt

The cost is $12 per Girl Scout; one adult per three Girl Scouts is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings are $7 each. Non participating-infants (children two and under) are free. The Rose Petal is not included in the program fee.

Pre-registration is required. To register your group, please complete this form. After submitting the form, a staff member will confirm your registration and provide payment instructions within 72 hours. Program registration will not be available onsite. Due to social distancing and group size restrictions you must register all members of your party ages three and up.
