Our very own Steamboat Cadette Troop Leader, Chayla Rowley, was selected as one of Steamboat’s “20 Under 40”. There were more than 90 nominations for the honor, and only 20 individuals were selected!
Cadette Leader, Chayla Rowley, is one of our Steamboat troop leaders (she has no daughters but is now in her 4th year of volunteering with her troop) She “saved” the troop by volunteering as their Junior leader and they are now an active group of Cadette Girl Scouts. Chayla figures largely into their lives as a role model and by championing their Girl Scout experiences. Read more about Chayla’s honor here:
The announcement of the 20 Under 40 was celebrated at a launch party last week with all of the other honorees.
