Are you in the Class of 2023, and planning your next steps after high school? Join Claster Educational Services on February 13 for Your Girl Scout Experience and the College Search: Ambassadors Workshop. You’ll not only work on the College Knowledge badge, you’ll also learn how your Girl Scout experience can inform your college search and make you a stronger candidate for admission to college.
During this online session, we’ll discuss how to research colleges, make the most of virtual and in-person college fairs and visits, and identify schools for your college list that will be a great fit for you. We’ll also talk about what colleges are looking for and how to highlight your qualifications, including the skills and leadership you’ve developed as a Girl Scout. In addition, you’ll learn about the timeline for preparation and applications, including standardized testing and writing college essays. We’ll also provide an overview of how the financial aid system works, including types of aid and how you can figure out which colleges will be most affordable. Finally, we’ll discuss things you can do now to make the application process less stressful in the coming months.
This workshop will cover Steps 1-3 of the College Knowledge badge. Girls can register here and join us on February 13 at 2pm Mountain time.
