Girl Scout Troop 70757 in Fort Lupton misses the days pre-COVID when their community would come together to watch a movie under the stars. The girls wanted to bring it back! They researched movies that had a strong female character, then voted on which they wanted to show. With the movie chosen, Abominable, they spoke with the City to secure the park and projection system. Girl Scouts also spoke with local businesses sharing their event. Ace Hardware donated popcorn, the Jump 'n Play donated cotton candy and snow cones, and the KM Cup donated lemonade. All these items were given out for free! Over 150 people attended the event. It was a HUGE success.
