On Saturday, May 21, Troop 60762 completed their Bronze Award by building a Community Garden at the King’s Point Pool in the neighborhood community of their elementary school. This 5th/6th grade Junior/Cadette Troop made a presentation to the pool board, gathered donations from local businesses and pool board members, led a Troop of Kindergarten Daisies on their Between Earth and Sky Journey, and then planned and built this Community Garden with the Kindergarten Daisy Troop. The Scouts will continue to maintain the garden throughout the summer and work with younger Scout members and pool members to continue garden growth and maintenance for years to come.
