eBudde Closeout

Troops will be locked out of eBudde at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15. * TCMs and Juliette Caregivers – Before Tuesday March 15, 8 p.m.

  1. Set aside HTH cookies from troop cookie inventory, and/or get more HTH cookies through the Cookie Exchange.

  2. If there are not enough cookies are on hand to fulfill HTH donations, designate remaining unfulfilled HTH donations as GOC in eBudde.

  3. Check that all cupboard orders are listed as complete, not pending.

  4. Update or clear inventory listed in the Cookie Exchange.

  5. If your troop accepted cookies through a troop-to-troop transfer, be sure to add that transaction.

  6. Allocate all cookie sales to the girls in your troop. Enter payments made. Review and verify all transactions.**

  7. Submit the final reward order.

  8. Review eBudde closeout with service unit cookie manager.

For more information, check out the TCM Closeout Mini Guide on the Cookie Resources page!

*You can still view everything in eBudde after the lock-out, such as sales report and girl reward selections. It’s a good idea to print the sales report and reward choices for your records. You can continue to add cookie payments in eBudde, but you can’t change cookie allocations. ** Payments for in-person cookie sales can be made through Digital Cookie, by March 13, 8 p.m. For instructions on how to do so, check out the Making Payments tip sheet.

Allocating Troop Link SalesIf you haven’t started already, now is the time for TCMs to allocate all cookie booth and Digital Cookie troop link sales to girls and continue to do so until the end of the program. Cookies sold through the troop link (shipped, donated, virtual booth, and cookie booth sales) must be allocated to selling girls in the troop. No cookie sales can remain on the troop link. It must be “zeroed” out by the closeout deadline.

  1. Find the “How to Allocate Troop Link Sales in eBudde” video on the YouTube channel. The video walks you through the steps on how to allocate all troop link cookie sales.

  2. There’s also a How to Allocate Digital Cookie Troop Link Sales tip sheeton the Cookie Resources page.

  3. TCMs can also check-in with their service unit cookie manager for support.

Gift of Caring, Cookie Exchange, and Hometown Hero cookiesTroops with Hometown Hero donations (HTH) should either set aside troop cookie inventory to fulfill their HTH donations or check the Cookie Exchange and help other troops in your area by picking up HTH cookies needed from the Cookie Exchange.

Unlike in previous years, there is no guarantee of any cookie inventory left at cupboards at the end of the cookie program to fulfill HTH donations. Getting HTH cookies needed through the Cookie Exchange before Sunday, March 13, is your best option.

If troops have some cookies to fulfill HTH donations, but not all, the difference in donations must be allocated to GOC in eBudde. We have already recorded 88,000+ Gift of Caring donations this season! In addition to Marshall Fire helpers, heroes, and community, these cookies will go to military serving overseas, health care workers, and food banks in our communities.

These cookies will not come out of your inventory. They will be baked and distributed after the cookie program is over.

Booth Sales patch and Porch Pixie patchGirl Scouts can earn the Booth Sales patch and Porch Pixie patch through Tuesday, March 15, 8 p.m. (TCM close out deadline).

Booth Sales patch Girl Scouts who sell cookies at council or My Sale booths can earn an adorable koala 2022 Booth Sale patch! No need to fill out a form to receive the patch. However, troop cookie managers must allocate booth cookie sales by using the booth recorder in eBudde, in order for Girl Scouts get the patch. Record Booth Sales Tip Sheet.

Porch Pixie patch When Girl Scouts make a contactless delivery to a customer, they can earn a custom, “Porch Pixie” patch! Complete the Porch Pixie form, attach the delivery photo, and submit by the deadline: Tuesday, March 15, 8 p.m. Be sure to include your contact information and troop number, Cookie Program goals, and your Hometown Hero.

Girl Reward Selection

  1. Remind girls to review at girl rewards on the back of the order card or in the family guide.

  2. Have Girl Scouts complete a girl reward selection sheet before March 14.

Reward orders are due in eBudde Tuesday, March 15, at 8 p.m. If you have girls who do not make reward selections by the deadline, choose the item instead of Cookie Credits. If later the girl wants the Cookie Credits instead, it’s easier for GSCO to make the change. Don’t forget, girls have the option of holding Cookie Credits at council to be applied to summer camp fees.

Money Problem Reports

Money Problem Reports are due Friday, March 18, at 8 p.m. To file a report, you’ll need the total amount of uncollected debt, contact information for the person responsible for the debt, and a description of the situation and receipts or other supporting documentation.

Share Your StoryWant to share your Girl Scout story with the media, including TV stations, newspapers, and radio stations in your area? Be sure to reach out to GSCO Public Relations Manager Hannah Gutkind  at Hannah.Gutkind@gscolorado.org before contacting the media. She can help you (and your girls) get ready to really shine in interviews about cookies, Highest Awards projects, and more!

Cookie Program proceedsPlease remember troop members share in the proceeds from a successful product program; proceeds aren’t distributed to individual girl members. Girls are eligible for rewards and Cookie Credits that they put toward council-sponsored camps, programs, and items in the Girl Scouts of Colorado Shop.
