This Grow Your Troop Challenge is a fun opportunity to expand the friends within your troop and provide a place for members to start their Girl Scout journey. Starting November 14, 2022 through March 31, 2023 troops that want to participate by adding 2 or more members to their roster fill out a quick form to indicate the number of desired girls on the roster. After receiving the form, council will update that number on the troop account, open the troop in the catalog, and provide support as new members join. The Troop Leader will receive an email with a fun PDF activity packet by My Little Pony after submitting the form to help the troop in welcoming their new friends.
The activity packet has five fun, engaging activities centered on building social-emotional skills that promote friendship and inclusion. After a participating troop meets their desired number of 2 or more Girl Scouts, every girl in the troop will receive a free My Little Pony Friendship Power fun patch to display on their vest or sash.
