Amelia and Allison met a turtle, two snakes, and a bearded dragon and learned to care for animals and teach others how. To keep animals safe and sound, it’s important to… “feed them,” said Allison, and “give them water and shelter,” said Amelia. They enjoy pretend play, so after introducing their project to their family and troop they chose to show how to care for animals by pretending to be a veterinarian and an animal rescue.
In the fall of 2021, Brownie Elizabeth in Troop 5659 helped Daisy Summer complete her 3 Cheers for Animals Journey. Two years later, that Daisy, Summer, is now a Brownie. Summer helped the Amelia and Allison complete the same journey just as Elizabeth helped her. She felt proud of herself for helping others.
