Blessing Bags have been on the minds of the Girl Scout troops of Steamboat Springs. Members of local troops contributed gifts and goodies, healthy snacks, games, crafts and books to fill Blessing Bags for local clients of the Lift Up food bank.
Over 40 bags were filled and donated to help make the holidays brighter for some friends and neighbors in our community who utilize the local Lift Up food bank.
Girl Scout Troop 54538 coordinated the project and utilized some of their cookie money to fund some of the items for the bags. Thanks to the Lufkin Fund for Routt County Girl Scouts for also helping with this project!
