Troop 43893 becomes a part of history at Panorama Park

Troop 43893 joined their love of art and community service by creating tiles for the renovation of Panorama Park, a 13.5 acre park in Southeast Colorado Springs. As part of the largest neighborhood park renovation in city history, tile murals are being created to celebrate unity and diversity.

These Girl Scouts lent their creative ideas to tiles that will be part of the 7,000 tile mural project. “The theme is “stepping into our power” and “sharing our light.” They will be permanent features in the renovated park.”

They are excited to return to the park in late summer 2022 and search for their piece of history.

Special thanks to Jordyn at Sand Creek Library for leading our project.
