Hey Girl Scouts! We’ve got SO many awesome programs happening this winter for girls across Colorado! Check out all the events on the GSCO Events Calendar to register your girl. Happening Monthly

Badge Series (D/B/J/C/S/A) Each month girls can earn at least one badge by completing activities at home or with their troop. Girls participate in a kick-off and reflection meeting live, then complete the activities at their own pace by accessing them on our Google Classroom sites. FREE

Art Clubs (D/B/J/C/S/A) Girls engage with others in a creative environment as they complete an art activity at home. FREE

Book Clubs (B/J/C/S/A) Divided by program level, each club chooses a developmentally appropriate book to read and discuss. FREE

STEM Clubs (D/B/J) Get hands-on with science at home! We send out supply lists ahead of time and do the experiments with your girl. FREE

Daisy Flower Hour (D) Daisies have the time to socialize, play, and have fun while learning new skills. FREE

Brownie Buddies (B) Get your Brownie buddy and come hang-out! Girls will learn new skills as we chat, play games, and have fun. FREE

Junior Jam (J) Hey, hey Girl Scouts, let’s hang out. With a fun different theme each week, girls will learn new skills while having fun together. FREE

Naturalist Clubs (D/B/J/C/S/A) Let’s use our resources wisely and make the world a better place. Each week girls will learn about natural world and how we can be stewards for it. FREE

Tools for Independence (J/C/S/A) Is your girl ready to gain some of her own independence? In this club, she’ll learn essential life skills to help her start to do things on her own. FREE

NEW COMING SPRING 2021 Camping Club (D/B/J/C/S/A) Come brush up on your camping skills and have some fun with GSCO’s Spring 2021 Camping Club. We’ll discuss everything from fire safety and orienteering to crafting the perfect s’more.

January

Babysitter’s Training (C) TBD Girls earn their babysitting badge and the babysitting certification from the American Red Cross.

GSCO Day of Service (D/B/J/C/S/A) Spend this Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 18) as a “day-on” rather than a day-off as you participate in community service. More details to come on how you can earn our limited GSCO patch.

Healthy Habits (DBJ) January 19 at 4:30 p.m. New year, heathier me! Learn some new healthy habits to start the year off right. $5- includes a patch!

Love Yo’ Self (C/S/A) January 20 at 6 p.m. Let’s start this year right with some self-care and self-love! $5 – includes a patch!

February

Cadette Program Aide Award Training (C) February 2 and 23 Cadettes will complete the required training to earn their Cadette Program Aide award. Two live sessions and activities to complete on their own through Google Classroom. FREE

Volunteer in Training Award Training (S/A) Seniors or Ambassadors will complete the required training to earn their Senior and Ambassador Award. Training is broken into multiple activities/courses to take through Google Classroom. FREE

Babysitter’s Training (C) TBD. Girls earn their babysitting badge and the babysitting certification from the American Red Cross.

March

Colorado Road Trip Spring Break Patch (D/B/J/C/S/A). Girls can earn this fun patch by participating in our programming throughout the month that will take girls on a road trip across Colorado and learn about hidden gems and our state’s history, while also completing fun activities that are essential to every road trip. More details to come in the new year!

Babysitter’s Training (C) TBD. Girls earn their babysitting badge and the babysitting certification from the American Red Cross.

Cesar Chavez Patch Program (D/B/J/C/S/A) TBD. Learn about Cesar Chavez through this patch program. We will have a fun trivia night to learn about his life and work.

STEMinist (C/S/A) March 16 at 6 p.m. Love science, technology, engineering, and math? Join us for a fun hour where we will learn how to flex your passion of STEM and show off that you are a female in this industry. $5 – girls will receive a STEMinist patch as part of their registration fee.

We want to hear how your girl is using her Girl Scout skills by taking initiative, caring for the community, and Girl Scouting at home. She can send in her story here.
